1. Archer And Armstrong #1

    Hey,

So an martial arts expert and a 10, 000 Year old alcoholic. WHATS NOT TO lOVE? from start to finish this comic was a joy read. It flows well has a craking strory line and the end had me tense. It made me laugh and smirk at the litterally kick ass fight scenes. I love how it has any social commentrys with it also; for example at the amusment park where the family suppreses education for food, the whole comic is riddled with social commentaries.

Now as i said, this ncomic is great. however the star was a bit confusing but it all gets sorted out so dont worry about that. my main crtisicm though is i feel archer as a character is a tad undeveloped. In his exterior he looks like a cheap french kids show presenter and on the inside he is tight and unmovable.

To conclude i give this bookk a 9/10. Seriously brilliant comic. I think many who are new into comics might over look it. DONT IT WILL CHANGE YOUR OUT LOOK ON COMICS!

  2. Marvel Comics: Avengers vs X-men #1 Variant cover.

    Hey,

Just picked this up from the shop. I have read it through around three times so i have a pretty good idea. The whole idea of this series is fighting. There is no plot what so ever. This is good for all you action lovers. The fist brawl we see is Iron man Vs magneto. This is a good fight lots of to and fro. the second brawl is between the thing and Namor (the sub mariner). again good fight!!!!!

My criticisms of this book is although it says T+ on the cover i find it quite child like. For example i don’t enjoy the very condecending Avengers vs x men fun facts. now knowing the info is always a bonus but i find it tedious presented in this way. i feel the facts should have been incorperated into the banter between the brawlers. The last criticism is still on the age range. i find the banter in this book to be very child like and immature. this makes it very hard to read.

overall i would give it a 7/10. i liked the artwork and the fights themselves were good. however, with no plot nor small bio it is hard to understand and get hooked into why the characters are fighting. i also feel the book isnt of its age range. Making it good to loo at but tedious to read
